Why didn't Sumamed help me with sinusitis?
Sumamed does not work, this is a very weak drug, I have sinusitis for a year and a half and no reaction 6 tablets make no sense

Dziękujemy za tę opinię. Brak skuteczności w Pana przypadku nie upoważnia jednak do uogólnienia, że "Sumamed nie działa" i że "to bardzo słaby lek". W przypadku antybiotyków (takich azytromycyna zawarta w leku Sumamed), trudno jest mówić o sile działania, raczej ocenia się tak zwane "spektrum", czyli liczbę i rodzaj drobnoustrojów (bakterii), które reagują na leczenie danym antybiotykiem. Być może w Pana przypadku lek nie został prawidłowo dobrany pod kątem ich wrażliwości. Jeśli natomiast chodzi o wskazania, to zapalenie zatok jest jednym ze schorzeń, jakie można leczyć lekiem Sumamed.
Brak poprawy po zastosowaniu tego antybiotyku powinien skłonić Pana do wizyty u lekarza, być może warto zastanowić się nad specjalistą otolaryngologiem.

I agree with your opinion. Sumamed is too weak. Every time I or my son 12tni suffer from sinuses and throat - the drug 3 tab. should react even after the second dose.
