I have been taking Dupixent 300 as a production syringe every 14 days for 2 years. For about 6 months I have had increasingly severe muscle and joint pain, especially in the finger joints, knees and cervical spine. I could no longer be sure and had to take painkillers every day. I was examined by orthopedists X-rays, MRI's, nothing was found. Then examination for rheumatism, no result here either. Every few weeks suddenly occurring itchy wheals in the poem, dermatologist could not find the cause. Only then was the side effect of Dupixent thought about and the injections stopped.

To @Emilie:
Joint and muscle pain are a potential side effect of using Dupixent. The product information clearly mentions the possibility of arthralgia (joint pain) and gait disturbances or reduced mobility associated with joint symptoms, and in some cases even hospitalization was necessary.
The right decision was to consult with the attending physician and temporarily stop treatment with Dupixent. This will allow you to assess whether the symptoms will disappear after stopping the drug. If symptoms persist, further diagnostics may be necessary, such as a rheumatology consultation to rule out other causes.
Hello, I have now had four injections of Dupixent and since then no asthma complaints (for a long time due to a break with cortisone tablets) and my extremely chronic sinusitis is largely gone, polyps have gone back and I smell something again for the first time after 20 years.
However, I have had extreme joint, muscle pain for three weeks. Arms and legs, muscle pain and joints, especially fingers and knees, that I can't even climb stairs normally anymore if I sit longer, can only get up with difficulty and take longer to walk more or less normally. I'm afraid it's side effects of Dupixent. My doctor recommended that I take a break for the time being. Does anyone have the same experience with it ?

If you experience muscle pain while using Dupixent for 6 months, I encourage you to consult your doctor immediately. Muscle pain can have a variety of causes, so it is important to consult a specialist to determine the appropriate course of action. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, myalgia is not listed among the known side effects of Dupixent. The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book the medicine at a selected stationary pharmacy and collect it after presenting a prescription:
