Do you continue to take Sulfasalazin If the pain in your hands persists for several months?

Hello, I have a question regarding the use of Sulfasalazine. I've been using it since last year, since August, and the pain in my hands still persists, sometimes it's very strong and I get weak: I can't unscrew the bottle cap, spread my bread, etc.
Does it make sense to continue using this drug, or is it time to change to another one, I will also add that I take 2 tablets in the morning and 2 in the evening

The clinical effect of the drug appears after 6 - 10 weeks of treatment. Treatment should last at least 6 months. If you do not currently see any improvement, you should consult your doctor and consider changing your treatment.
