Etoricoxib (the active ingredient in Doloxib) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation such as arthritis in osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. In fact, most people report a lack of appetite rather than an increase in it with NSAIDs, although reactions to medications can vary from person to person.
Etoricoxib can cause side effects such as swelling, nausea, headache and dizziness, but weight gain is not common.
