Hello, for 2 weeks I have been getting a rash, red itchy blisters. There was an ambulance because my face was all swollen. They asked if I was taking zyrtec clatra and lime. I'm taking it, but no results. The rash occurs all over the body. Every day. It stings terribly. Can anything else help?

In the case of an allergic rash, the most important thing is to avoid contact with allergenic agents. Skin care, oiling and moisturizing, and the use of emollients and steroid preparations can also help treat allergic rashes.

The effect of Telfexo starts within an hour and reaches its maximum after 6 hours, but in order to see the full effect of Telfexo, you need to saturate your body. The so-called steady state is then achieved, in which the rate of introduction of the drug into the body is equal to the rate of its elimination. In the case of Telfexo, the half-life is 11-15 hours, so you will only reach steady state on the 3rd-4th day of using the drug.

In this case, Atarax has an antipruritic and sedative effect. Thus, it will support the action of Telfexo. In this case, you will also have to wait 3-4 days for the full effects.

If you are concerned about this situation, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor who can give you more personalized advice. If you do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation:

The gdziepolek.pl service also allows you to book medicines at the nearest stationary pharmacy upon presentation of a prescription:

Hello. My GP prescribed me such medicines Telfexo 180mg and Atarax 10mg. After the night I look like this. I have allergies to pollen, poplar, birch, rye, grain, grass, dust, citrus, dog hair, peaches, soybeans. Pills of the lnpz type, but I avoid everything from food. I don't know if it's because of the pollen of the plants. Yesterday I took the medication I got for the first time and there is no improvement but it is as shown in the attached photo. I have an appointment with an allergist in mid-April. I've been in treatment for 2 years but I'm only being tested. A year ago, I had anaphylactic shock after taking an Olfen pill.

Thank you for sharing your case. However, it is difficult to propose a specific method of treatment based on such a short description.

In this situation, I encourage you to consult an allergist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-alergologiem

In the case of a red, itchy and burning rash and a history of anaphylactic shock (the swelling on the face you write about), there may be various causes, such as allergies, skin infections or other conditions. It is necessary to determine the exact cause of the rash in order to plan effective treatment. Your doctor can recommend appropriate diagnostic tests and tailor therapy to your specific situation.

There is no need to use both Clatra and Zyrtec (unless your doctor has recommended it). The use of additional drugs will not enhance the antihistamine effect, and may only intensify their side effects. In this case, it is better to opt for one preparation. I suggest Clatra because it belongs to the newer generation of antihistamines and has a better effect on skin allergies. Please remember that Clatra should be used 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Then its absorption and action will be the best.

The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book the medicine at a selected stationary pharmacy and collect it after presenting a prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/18223/clatra-20-mg-tabletki/apteki

You can also use anti-allergic ointments, e.g. Fenistil or Hydrocortisonum (but rather temporarily, without consulting a doctor, it cannot be used for a long time. Fenistil: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/29502/fenistil-zel/apteki

Hydrocortisonum: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/36797/hydrocortisonum-aflofarm-krem/apteki

Itching of the skin can also be relieved by moisturizing/lubricating creams or lotions, e.g.:

Dexiryl: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/119114/dexeryl-emolient-krem-do-skory-suchej-i-atopowej-krem/apteki

In cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź, Bialystok, Lublin or Krakow, products can be ordered with instant delivery even in 1 hour thanks to the Wolt Drive service - check if the service is available in your location:  https://www.gdziepolek.pl/koszyk/szybka-dostawa?src=zf
