If you took your first tablet on the first day of your cycle, i.e. on the first day of menstrual bleeding, you are protected right away - from the first tablet. Thus, even with the 7th tablet, the effectiveness is maintained.

In general, I took the pills at one time of the hour, this is the first time I've taken the pills and I don't know exactly how they work. When I took the 7th pill did it no longer work?
