What should I do if I get diarrhoea right after taking the pill?

Good evening, can I find out, I started a course of taking contraceptives, I drink at 7 pm, and it happened that immediately after taking the pill I had diarrhea. Do I need to take another pill or does it not affect its effectiveness and absorption?

If you have diarrhoea up to 4 hours after taking the pill, it may reduce the effectiveness of your contraception and you should take another tablet from a spare blister. According to the World Health Organization, diarrhoea is the passing of at least 3 loose or watery stools per day. This is due to the fact that intestinal transit is significantly accelerated and the possibility of absorption of the tablet is reduced.

A single loose stool does not affect contraceptive protection.
