Should I stop taking Hydroxychloroquine Adamed if I have muscle tremors and arrhythmias?
19.99 zł

A day a day for about a few weeks I take Hydroxychloroquine Adamed 200 mg once a day, unfortunately for a few days I feel worse and worse, my head hurts, my muscles are trembling and the ECG revealed conduction disorders and block A 5 II degree, I wonder if these are not side effects of using the drug and whether to stop using it. I don't have an appointment with a rheumatologist until May and I haven't had any contact with her. What to do

It may be a good idea to do laboratory tests for sodium, potassium and magnesium levels first. Taking hydroxychloroquine increases the risk m.in of hypocalyphagia, which is manifested by cardiac arrhythmias or muscle tremors.

Since it is a prescription drug, it is up to your doctor to decide whether to discontinue it or change the dosage.

If you notice any side effects, you should report them to your doctor, who will decide what to do next.
You can find out why you should report adverse drug reactions here:

If the waiting period for an appointment with a rheumatologist is long, it is worth consulting

If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
