How long does it take to be prescribed Duphaston?

Hello, are there any specific rules about when you should start taking Duphaston if you miss your period? I haven't had a period this month and I'm not pregnant. How long do you usually wait for your period before making the decision to prescribe Dupaston? Thanks in advance

The decision to recommend Duphaston is made by your gynaecologist. If your cycle has been excessively long and your menstruation, despite not being pregnant, has not occurred, I encourage you to consult a doctor.
