#ginoring
I took out the disc at 5:30 p.m. and reapplied it around 9:50 p.m.
I know the recommended out-of-vagina time is 3 hours.
He has been using ginoring continuously for a year
And today was 2 days with a ring after menstrual bleeding (1 week)
Will such a long break affect its effectiveness?
Unfortunately, I don't have a new disc that I can put out instead

Yes, the disc has not lost 100% of its properties, but the contraceptive effectiveness may be reduced. For this reason, it is recommended to use barrier contraception for the first 7 days after reinserting the system
From what I understand, the puck has not lost 100% of its effectiveness
the disc was removed for the duration of intercourse

A break of more than 3 hours may affect the effectiveness of Ginoring. For a period of 7 days, the use of additional barrier contraception, such as a condom, is recommended.
The risk of pregnancy is higher the longer the disc has been outside the vagina and the closer it is to the cessation of its use.
If the disc is removed within the first week of use, it should be rinsed in lukewarm or cold water and left uninterrupted for at least 7 days.
