Can I give an 8 year old Amotaks tablets if he vomits after the syrup?

My son was 8 years old 30 kg he got 3 x 9 ml of Amotaks 500 mg/5 ml I got amotaxis in tablets, can I split the tablet and give it to my son in liquid form he vomits and has no problem swallowing the tablets

The dosing method shown indicates that the child should take 900 mg of the drug 3 times a day. However, 1000 mg tablets are available. At home, therefore, it is not possible to divide the 1000 mg tablet and keep the dosage method agreed with the pediatrician.

Ask your doctor for advice again. There are two solutions - after consultation with a specialist, you can increase the dose of the drug and give your child a 1000 mg tablet 3 times a day (usually this is the recommended dose for people weighing more than 40 kg) - to make it easier for the child to swallow it, you can divide it in half
