Why can Thonsilan syrup only be used from the age of 3?
What is the reason why thonsilan syrup can only be used from the age of 3? My daughter has acute pharyngitis with enlarged tonsils, she snores and has a hard time breathing through her nose, the pharmacist suggested this syrup to us, unfortunately my daughter is 2 years old, I don't know if I can use it for sure?

Thonsilan syrup may support the functioning of the tonsils, but it is not intended for children under 3 years of age, which means that the manufacturer has not anticipated the use of the syrup in children younger than 3 years and has not conducted clinical trials in this direction. The pharmacist who suggested this syrup probably based his recommendation on the child's symptoms.
