The dose of Taromentin for your child will be determined by your doctor based on the severity of your m.in symptoms.
The recommended dose is between (25 mg + 3.6 mg) and (45 mg + 6.4 mg) or up to (70 mg + 10 mg) for each kilogram of the child's body weight in 2 divided doses. That is, for a child weighing 7.5 kg, it is between (187.5 mg + 27 mg) and (337.5 mg + 48 mg) to a maximum (525 mg + 75 mg) in 2 divided doses.
In Taromentin, the dose of the substance is (400 mg + 57 mg) in 5 ml of the reconstituted suspension. For the values calculated above, the child should receive between 1.17 ml and 2.10 ml, up to a maximum of 3.28 ml. This dose should be given at equal 12-hour intervals.
In summary, it is perfectly correct to give a child weighing 7.5 kg Taromentin 2 times 2 ml each.
