Hi, I have been taking Drovelis for almost 12 months now and has it happened that I have had spotting 3 times when there were still 9 pink pills left before taking the placebo pills? Spotting that still lasts until the beginning of the cycle while taking the placebo pills. I ask if it's normal or if it's time to change the pill

Spotting is a common side effect of hormonal contraception, which can occur not only at the beginning of use, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. Usually, this is not a cause for concern. If the pills are used as prescribed, contraceptive protection is maintained. If spotting persists, it is worth visiting a gynecologist to rule out non-hormonal causes.
