I got spotting while using Drovelis - is this normal?

Hello, I have been using the contraceptive pill Drovelis for two years.
I now got spotting between periods on day 17 of my cycle, like the situation happened 4 months earlier and the spotting lasted a week. I use the pills regularly, I haven't had such spotting before, even before contraception. I don't know if I should be concerned if such spotting is normal?

Spotting is a common side effect of hormonal contraception, which can occur not only at the beginning of use, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. Usually, this is not a cause for concern. If the pills are used as prescribed, contraceptive protection is maintained. If spotting persists, it is worth visiting a gynecologist to rule out non-hormonal causes.
