Among the side effects that may occur when using Kesimpta, the manufacturer does not mention weight gain.

Very common (may affect more than 1 in 10 people)
- upper respiratory tract infections, with symptoms such as sore throat and runny nose

- injection-related reactions such as fever, headache, muscle ache, chills and tiredness – these usually occur within 24 hours after the Kesimpta injection. especially after the first administration

- urinary tract infections

- injection site reactions such as redness, pain, itching and swelling at the injection site

Even though your symptoms don't include weight gain, that doesn't mean you can't get it.

I encourage you to contact your doctor if you notice such a correlation. It's worth talking about. Your doctor may be able to suggest a different medication for you. Have there been any other factors (besides the use of the drug) that could cause you to gain weight?
