Rybelsus should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. The dosage is best adapted to the individual patient's situation, according to the guidelines in the Summary of Product Characteristics: The starting dose of semaglutide is 3 mg once daily for one month. After the first month, the dose should be increased to a maintenance dose of 7 mg once daily. After at least one month of taking 7 mg once daily, the dose may be increased to a maintenance dose of 14 mg once daily to further improve glycaemic control.
