Can I take Eliquis 5 with diabetes and will my blood sugar go up? Cheers oha I also take oxycardil 60 for heart disease .

Eliquis can be used in people with diabetes, moreover, this drug is indicated for this group of patients. It does not raise blood sugar levels.
Caution should be exercised when combining Eliquis and Oxycardil - combining these medicines may increase the anticoagulant effect of apixaban, increasing the risk of bleeding and even haemorrhage. If you experience unusual bleeding (e.g. from the nose), subcutaneous hematomas, tarry faeces or other worrying symptoms, consult a doctor.
