Can Davercin gel and Benzacne gel be used alternately at night?

Can Davercin gel and Benzacne gel be used alternately at night? So one day davercin and the other day benzacne? The dermatologist prescribed these two medications with a brace and wrote that they should be taken overnight, alternately. Is it about the use of these drugs? Because I've read that a preparation such as benzacne can lead to a weakening of the effect of topical antibiotics, i.e. Davercin gel.

The occurrence of rashes, redness of the skin and the appearance of red pustules after two weeks of use of Benzacne and Davercin are a normal reaction to these medicines. These are common side effects of treatment with them, known as "initial deterioration". They usually disappear after a few weeks.

If you are concerned about this situation, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor who can give you more personalized advice. If you do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation:

After these 2 weeks of using benzacne and davercin, a rash occurred. The skin is reddened and more red pustules have appeared. Is this normal in the first two weeks of treatment? Are these side effects of medication and should it be discontinued?

You can buy Benzacne gel at a pharmacy. The drug is available without a prescription. It is recommended that you consult your doctor if you change your treatment. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and duration of treatment.

And if you run out of benzacne gel can you use the same Davercin gel every night time?
Since the doctor prescribed one benzacne ointment and two Davercin ointments, one Davercin ointment has already run out. Is it best to go to the doctor for a check-up in such a case or buy benzacne gel? However, the treatment has only lasted 2 weeks and 2 days, and the ointments are not over yet. On the internet it says that you can use benzacne for a period of 2-3 weeks. Davercin, on the other hand, took 4 weeks, I think. I think it's better to finish the treatment with davercin alone when the benzacne is over. Can you do so?

Yes, Davercin gel and Benzacne gel can be used alternately at night, as recommended by your dermatologist. One day Davercin and the other day Benzacne.

Benzacne contains benzoyl peroxide, which has antibacterial and exfoliating effects, while Davercin is a topical antibiotic containing cyclic erythromycin carbonate. However, it is important to note that benzoyl peroxide can lead to a reduction in the effects of topical antibiotics, so it is important to use them as directed by your doctor.

The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book Davercin at a selected stationary pharmacy and pick it up after presenting your prescription:

Benzacne is a preparation available without a prescription in the offer of online and stationary pharmacies:
