Hello, I have been using the drug dicortineff for a few days for otitis externa manifested by a blocked ear. A short time after the last use, I felt a strong snap in my ear and the clogging was almost completely gone. Is this sudden improvement a normal effect of the drug or could there have been a desecration of the eardrum?
I would like to add that after the previous instillations I did not feel the gradual unclogging of the ear

If you notice leakage of fluid from your ear, hearing loss or tinnitus, then you should consult an otolaryngologist. Additional research will be needed.
