Will taking a 400mg tablet of Zentel once, three weeks off, and another pill be effective for human roundworm? On all forums I read that you should use one tablet for three days, take a break of 2 weeks and use one tablet again for three days... But it seems like a very high dose. What over-the-counter pharmacy preparations can be used to support such treatment?

In the case of human roundworm, the manufacturer recommends taking "400 mg of albendazole (one tablet), given once."
The dosage of "400 mg albendazole (one tablet) once daily for three consecutive days" is for tapeworms and strongyloidosis.
If necessary, in the case of roundworms, your doctor may recommend that you take one more tablet after 3 weeks. Since this is a prescription drug, the final decision on dosage should be made by your doctor.
