Can I be pregnant if I'm late with the 2nd patch Evra about 3 days and I took Escapelle?
Good morning.
I've been using Evra patches for over a year, but this time I was 3 days late with applying the 2nd patch. I should have applied it on Monday, but I applied it on Thursday, the day of ovulation.
The intercourse I'm worried about now took place 4 days after ovulation (according to the calendar). Due to the delay with the patch, about 25 hours after intercourse, I took the Escapelle tablet. Should I be afraid that I might get pregnant?

There is a risk of pregnancy, but taking Escapelle tablets significantly reduces the risk of conception. The next 3 patches should be applied on the day of the patch change, i.e. on Monday (you will wear the second patch for 3 days less). With the next pack of patches, you will be fully protected again.

As a preventive measure, 10 days after intercourse, it is worth taking a prophylactic pregnancy test, which you can buy at the pharmacy.
