Zotral contains a substance called sertraline. Sertraline is an antidepressant from the group of serotonin reuptake inhibitors used to treat various mental disorders such as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and others. It generally does not directly affect the results of a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests measure the level of the hormone hCG (chorionic gonadotropin), which is present in a woman's body when she is pregnant. Sertraline, as an antidepressant, does not affect the production of hCG. Therefore, in theory, it should not directly affect the results of a pregnancy test.
