Good morning. I've been using Cholestil for a month now, now I read on the leaflet about using this drug for two weeks. My doctor gave me a prescription to take this medication for a longer period of time. Can it be used long-term? I'm after the pouch was removed in 2010.

Your doctor may tell you to use this medicine differently than it says in this leaflet based on your experience, knowledge and the latest research. If you have any doubts, contact the doctor who prescribed you. Hymekromone (the active ingredient in the medicine) is generally well tolerated, so long-term use should not pose a health risk.
