I've been taking coaxil in a therapeutic dose for 10 days. The remedy works and stabilizes my mood, unfortunately I experience bothersome constipation on it. This is the only side effect I've observed. Will such a side effect pass? If so, +/- after how long (I plan to start a marathon and a well-functioning stomach is a must)? If it doesn't pass... So how do you cope?

The response to treatment is individual, and it is difficult to predict if and when constipation will subside.
Ideally, you should introduce a preparation that regulates bowel function right away. A lactulose or macrogol-based agent does not "make the intestines lazy", does not cause addiction, but only supports the proper functioning of the digestive system and improves the rhythm of bowel movements. Such agents are safe, effective and do not interact with Coaxil.
Here you can compare the prices of these preparations in online pharmacies and order with home delivery or pick-up at the pharmacy:

A proper diet rich in fibre and increased fluid intake are also important - min. 2 liters of water per day.
