According to the manufacturer's recommendations, children over 6 years of age should take
1 to 1.5 million units per day.
One tablet of Ospen contains 1 million units, so your daughter is taking 3 million units a day.
There is also a conversion according to the child's body weight. The manufacturer states that the daily doses of phenoxymethylpenicillin used in children are 50,000 to 100,000 IU/kg.
Assuming the upper limit of 27kg x 100,000 IU, this gives us a daily dose of 2.7 million units. So the doctor rounded the result to 3 full antibiotic tablets. The dosage is therefore correct.
To dispel your doubts, I would advise you to contact your doctor. Ospen is a prescription antibiotic with a prescription and it is the doctor who decides on the treatment.
