Good morning, I've been taking lesiplus for 1.5 years. I forgot to take the pill for the first time, it was the 18th pill in the third week, I took it after 17 hours. The leaflet says that I am protected if I am up to 24 hours late. I took all the other pills correctly. Since then, my stomach hurts and I have spots. What does this situation mean? Has it been preserved?

To @Wiktoria:
In the subsequent cycle, there was no reduction in the effectiveness of contraception if you took the pill regularly. If pregnancy tests taken 3 weeks after the pill was missed, it indicates that she was not pregnant.
However, severe ovarian pain and spotting in the second week of the cycle are symptoms that require consultation with a doctor.
The omission concerned the 18th tablet of lesiplus, following the leaflet which says that you can take the pill for 24 hours (I took it with a 17 hour delay) and by consulting a gynaecologist I took a 4 day break, hence my question, was there a decrease in effectiveness in this cycle despite omitting the tablet in the previous cycle?
Hello, in the second week of the cycle after the cycle omitting the above-mentioned pill you experienced severe ovarian pain and spotting (on the 11th day of the cycle)? What does it mean, was it possible to conceive if I didn't have intercourse for 2 weeks after skipping the pill, or was I sure I was protected from the new cycle? In this cycle, I used all the pills correctly. I would like to add that I took pregnancy tests 3 weeks after taking the pill and they were negative

To @Wiktoria:
During the use of birth control pills, there may be a change in the nature of cervical mucus, but this is not always synonymous with ovulation. Hormonal contraception inhibits ovulation, reduces the amount of mucus secreted and makes the mucus thicker.
If you are not unsure whether ovulation has occurred and the observation of mucus seems to be unusual, I encourage you to consult your doctor.
Thank you for your answer, and what if there was a strange type of mucus so "glutinous", for 7 days after starting a new blister I was preventively protecting myself and on the 9th day this mucus appeared. Is this a sign of ovulation or is it just that contraception works that way?

In the next cycle, you will be protected.
Good morning, my gynecologist recommended protecting it for another 7 days and taking a break for bleeding. Will I be protected in the next cycle due to the fact that I took the lesiplus pill with a delay of less than 24 hours, which, according to the manufacturer, did not affect the effectiveness of contraception?

If you have used the pill correctly for 7 days before you forget to take the tablet, your contraceptive protection will be maintained.
And if you have sex in the week before you miss a pill, how big is the risk of pregnancy in this situation?

If you forget to take the contraceptive pill at week 3, take the missed pill immediately, stop taking the active pills and, if you skip the placebo pills, start taking the new pill. In this situation, the initial day of using Lesiplus changes.
If you have used the pill correctly for 7 days before you forget to take the tablet, your contraceptive protection will be maintained.
The symptoms you describe, stomach pain and spotting, may be related to the missed tablet and the approaching period of taking placebo tablets.
If you are concerned about this situation, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor who can give you more personalized advice. If you do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation:
