A 13-year-old child with suspected parasites based on eosinophils 39% and neutrophils 28% was given zentel 2 tablets. The child is supposed to get the second pill 10 days after the first one, isn't it too early? Shouldn't such eosinophilia be tested in a hospital? I'm afraid that eosinophils will damage organs. I've read that taurine 500 mg lowers eosinophils, can it be given with deworming?

As an outsider, I am not in a position to give you individual medical advice on the basis of a brief description alone.
Take Zentel exactly as your doctor has told you. If your doctor has prescribed two doses of Zentel with a 10-day gap, it is recommended that you follow this schedule. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics for Zentel, if not effective, the dose should be repeated after two or three weeks. It is important to know that your doctor may prescribe that you use the medicine in a different way than the one generally accepted. More here:

Elevated levels of eosinophils can be associated with a variety of factors, including parasitic infection. Treatment should consist in eliminating the cause - in this case, parasites. In such a situation, high eosinophils will gradually decrease.
It is always recommended to consult a doctor before giving any supplement to your child, including Taurine. Your doctor will be able to assess whether taurine is safe and appropriate for your particular patient.
