Possible interaction studies concern the effect of cigarettes on the effects of medicines. Smoking (smoke that enters the bloodstream) activates certain liver enzymes that may affect the metabolism of the active substances in medicinal products. Nicotine itself does not have this effect, and I have not found any information regarding the potential effect of nicotine replacement therapy on the effects of Neoparin.
