Can I experience swelling, redness and dryness of the lips as a result of using Heviran 400 mg?
I've been using Heviran 400 mg for some time now, I've noticed that my lips are terribly dry, a little swollen, red. Could this be the effect of Heviran ? Without smearing them with petroleum jelly or another moisturizing product, it's lousy.

Among the side effects, the manufacturer of the drug does not mention such symptoms affecting the skin and subcutaneous tissue.
As a result of the use of Heviran, hives, itching, rash may appear. Swelling is rare when using the drug.
I would blame the dry and red lips on the recent weather conditions.
However, watch your body's reaction. If you do not notice any improvement in your skin despite moisturizing, consult your doctor if the medication was prescribed and consider changing the dosage.
Until then, I recommend avoiding acidic foods and anything that could irritate the skin of your lips. It is recommended to take care of it in the form of protective lipsticks, ointments with vitamin A and barrier creams.
