I've been taking Hessena 21 for over 6 months now, and I've always had a cycle of 28 days. This time the bleeding started 4 days earlier (on the day of the last pill), I didn't skip any pills. Is this normal?

Spotting is a common side effect of hormonal contraception, which can occur not only at the beginning of use, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. Usually, this is not a cause for concern. If the pills are used as prescribed, contraceptive protection is maintained. If spotting persists, it is worth visiting a gynecologist to rule out non-hormonal causes.
