Should I rush my doctor's appointment if I only feel one thread of Kyleena IUD and discomfort?

A week ago, I had a Kyleena IUD inserted. At the very beginning, I felt two threads, and for a few days only one, and usually only the final part, and today I started to feel a slight discomfort in the lower abdomen area. Is this a reason to speed up the follow-up visit to the gynecologist?

The threads should not be visible in the vagina.

If you do not experience abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, fever or nausea - there is no reason to worry.

If the IUD is still felt and it causes a lot of discomfort - then you can consult a doctor.
