I'm in the process of climatorerum, the gynecologist prescribed me birth control pills, I read that Ramipril side effects is a decrease in libido, fatigue, depression, lack of concentration, I have the same symptoms, I don't know now if the result is that I have menopause and she also has such symptoms, or is it from this drug ... I've been feeling unwell lately

To @Hannah:

Any medicine can cause side effects, but not everybody gets them. Unfortunately, it is not possible to predict in advance whether and what side effects will occur in a particular person. Most of the time, they are mild, sometimes more severe, or occur only at the beginning of therapy and disappear after the drug is stopped. The manufacturer is obliged to inform you of all known side effects, even if they occur very rarely. This makes it easier to recognize the problem and gives you the opportunity to react quickly in the event of an adverse reaction.

Why, despite so many side effects, and very serious ones at that, has the drug not been withdrawn, but is still being prescribed? I was currently experiencing the above-mentioned side effects before my doctor prescribed me Ramipril.Even though I reported the above-mentioned symptoms to my doctor, he prescribed me Ramipril. I haven't started taking these pills yet, all I have to do is read the leaflet and seek advice. I have a habit that before I take anything into my body I have to find out what it is. That's firstly, and secondly, it doesn't need the same side effects that I currently have.

Side effects usually occur in the first weeks of treatment. If you haven't experienced these symptoms before, it's probably due to something other than Ramipril.

How long have you been taking Ramipril? How long have you been observing the occurrence of these symptoms?
