What’s the likeliness of me having a child with disabilities or defects due to having Ryeqo. I don’t want to put any future children at risk if there’s not enough studies. I’m 32 and am going on it to help with PMDD. Can someone break it down what it actually does? Thanks

Ovulation returns quickly after Ryeqo is discontinued, and there is no evidence that pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of abnormalities in the baby's development.
As far as the use of Ryeqo in pregnant women is concerned, there are limited data. Animal studies have shown that exposure to relugolix (the active ingredient in Ryeqo) in early pregnancy may increase the risk of early pregnancy loss. In addition, harmful effects on pregnancy cannot be excluded. Therefore, treatment should be discontinued if pregnancy occurs.
