I'm taking birth control pills (I didn't miss any, but I changed to new ones) plus I took the "pill after" 12 hours after intercourse - is the chance of getting pregnant high?

Good morning. On Friday night, I had intercourse with my partner. I'm taking birth control pills (I haven't missed any, but I've changed to new ones). The partner didn't have a condom and ended up inside. On Saturday I got a prescription for the morning-after pill and took it within the first 12 hours after sex. Is there a good chance of getting pregnant pregnant?

If the tablets have been changed according to the manufacturer's instructions, their effectiveness should be maintained. I don't see the possibility of getting pregnant in this case, especially if the pills are taken correctly and you have also taken the morning after pill. It is worth remembering that Ellaone (one of the preparations that is an emergency contraceptive) may interfere with the contraceptive pill, so you should use additional protection (condom) during intercourse until the end of the cycle.

On our website you can check the availability of the medicine and make a reservation at the pharmacy:
