I have a question: mom recently went to the ER 2 times a week with hypertension. So far she has been taking polpril 2.5 in the morning and in the evening Nipendipine 5mg x2 has been added to her. He still takes bisocard 2.5 in the morning and polokard 75 time .I feel bad with this newly added.drug . I feel swelling and other side effects. Can these 2 drugs be combined? He is supposedly diagnosed with ischemic heart disease.

As a pharmacist, I can only provide general information. The response to different antihypertensive medications can vary from person to person. However, Nitrendipine, Polpril, and Bisocard are different types of medications used to treat high blood pressure.
These drugs lower blood pressure and also reduce the frequency and strength of heart muscle contractions. When taken at the same time, these effects will be stronger. Usually, this is an intentional and beneficial effect, but sometimes excessive pressure drop or other cardiovascular ailments can occur.
In this situation, you should consult your cardiologist about the ailments and side effects that the mother is experiencing. Your doctor will be able to tailor your therapy depending on your individual needs and your body's tolerance. If the mother does not have the opportunity to consult her doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

Do not change doses on your own or stop taking medication without consulting your doctor. For existing heart conditions, such as ischemic heart disease, proper medication management is crucial to maintaining heart health.
