Can a Pap smear be taken on the first day of menstruation?
Good morning, the doctor took a Pap smear during the first day of menstruation. I wanted to know if it was possible to do that?

"Taking a smear test for cytology during your period distorts the test results to such an extent that it is not practiced. Menstruation disqualifies cytology even in urgent cases."
