Hello, I've been taking Belara contraceptive pills for a few years, today I got them in a pharmacy in a different package imported, repackaged Belara (Bellina). Are they the same pills, or do they differ in composition or use?

A pharmacist dispensing your imported equivalent of Belara cannot dispense a preparation with a different composition or use. Overpackaging does not impair the properties of the preparation. The name is different because the drug was originally intended to be sold in another country. You can read more about parallel import medicines in our study:
