Madam, I suggest starting a new thread for each question so that there are no misunderstandings. You started with a question about Flukofast, then Paracetamol was added and at the end there was contraception and diarrhea.

In order for me to be able to help you and answer your question precisely, I need to know what medicine you are asking for. The last thread was about Paracetamol and my answer was related to this drug.

You know best which blister tablet you should take when you have diarrhoea. Whether you should take an extra tablet or not depends on several factors, such as the number of tablets in the blister, the time that has elapsed. Without this information, I am not in a position to give you an answer. That is why I have sent you the leaflet of the medicine so that you can fit your situation into the scheme.

If you still have doubts, I recommend contacting a gynecologist.

I'm confused... Earlier, you wrote that there is no need for it, now that you do... It was the penultimate pill.

I'm assuming it was the first row tablet and it's been more than 12 hours since you should have taken the tablet.

Take the missed tablet as soon as possible after remembering to miss a dose, even if it means taking two tablets at the same time. Take the next tablets at the usual time.

In addition, you should use barrier contraceptive methods, such as condoms, for the next 7 days.

Thank you. I still don't really know how to interpret it, whether I should have taken the extra pill or not.

The manufacturer states:
In the case of severe gastrointestinal disorders, absorption may not be complete and additional contraceptive methods should be used. If vomiting or severe diarrhoea occurs within 3-4 hours after taking the active tablet, the recommendations to forget a dose should be considered. If you do not want to change your current dosing regimen, you should take an additional tablet(s) from a different pack.

In case of persistent or recurrent gastrointestinal disorders, additional contraceptive measures should be used and the doctor should be informed.

I am attaching a leaflet in which on page 12 you will find information on what to do if you forget to take a tablet:

Thank you. I'm talking about orlifique and another day. Is the loose stool and previously normal not disturbed the absorption of orlifique. It had a loose consistency

There is no need for that. I don't know what drug you're talking about now, but regardless, the absorption of the tablet into the bloodstream has not been affected by looser stool. In addition, please remember that you must not take any more tablets due to the risk of overdosing.

Thank you very much. What if I took a pill and then used the toilet, and after an hour I had to go to the bathroom again and the stool was thin? That day I used the bathroom 2 times, one bowel movement was normal and the other unfortunately loose. Should I have taken another pill?

In this situation, you do not have to be afraid. It is the levonorgestrel in Orlifique that may reduce or delay the effects of paracetamol. If it was not currently taken, it did not affect the effects of paracetamol.

Paracetamol, on the other hand, does not impair the contraceptive effect of Orlifique.

I suggest you alternate between Paracetamol and Ibuprofen if you are at risk of overtaking the drug and you still feel unwell.

Here you can compare the prices of paracetamol and ibuprofen products and order them for home delivery or pick-up at the pharmacy:

Good morning, I was taking paracetamol when I was sick. She also uses the contraceptive pill orlifique. I'm not sure if I didn't exceed the 3g dose because I felt very unwell. I was during a 7-day break where I didn't take orlifique. Could paracetamol taken in a dose of more than 3 g but during a 7-day break weaken the effect of the contraceptive pill?

It is not advisable to use Flucofast if you are planning to become pregnant.

Available studies indicate an increased risk of spontaneous abortion in women treated with fluconazole during the first trimester of pregnancy.

The manufacturer informs that fluconazole in standard doses and for a short period of time should not be used during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.

If you are taking medication on a regular basis or are undergoing a longer period of therapy when planning a pregnancy, it is worth contacting your gynaecologist and discussing the impact of your medication on pregnancy.

If you are unable to contact your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
