Good morning. My doctor recommended Pregaboline Sandoz 75 mg for anxiety, but I have been taking Oxazepam for several years, which was previously recommended to me by my family doctor. The current psychiatrist does not allow me to stop taking Oxazepam for fear of withdrawal effects. Can these drugs be combined? Should there be some time between them? Sincerely yours

The combination of pregabalin and oxazepam may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impaired thinking, judgment, and motor coordination. Alcohol consumption should be avoided or reduced during treatment with these medicines.
Medications should be taken as prescribed by a medical professional. A 2-hour interval between each medication may be maintained.
