The recommended dose of Augmentin ES for paediatric children weighing less than 40 kg and older than 3 months of age is (90 + 6.4 mg)/kg/day in two divided doses. For a child weighing 10.5 kg, this is (945mg + 67.2mg)/day, i.e. 7.8 ml per day.
The prescribed dosage does not exceed that indicated in the Summary of Product Characteristics. Based on the patient's health condition, the doctor may select an individual dosage of the preparation. If you are unsure about the recommended dosage, contact the specialist who prescribed the antibiotic.
