How much Auglavin should I give to a 26 kg baby?
Good morning, my daughter has pneumonia, she was given an antibiotic, amoksiklav unfortunately was not in the pharmacy, we got auglavin and now the question is how much should I give this antibiotic, the child weighs 26kg.

Auglavin should be used in the same way as prescribed by your doctor for Amoksiklav. The dose of an antibiotic depends not only on body weight or age, but also on the type and severity of the infection, the susceptibility of the microorganism causing the infection and the patient's general health.
Too little of an antibiotic can be ineffective and contribute to the development of bacterial resistance, while too much can be harmful and cause side effects.
