Is increasing the dose of Venlectine after 7 days from 37.5mg to 37.5mg + 75.5mg the correct dosage?

The psychiatrist gave me vencletine 37.5 mg and 75.5 mg. He recommended me to dose 37.5mg for 7 days and then after 7 days increase to 37.5mg + 75.5mg once a day in the morning. Is this the correct dosage?

I am unable to verify the specific dosage of Venlectine because different doctors may use different treatment regimens depending on the condition and the individual needs of the patient.

As a pharmacist, I can only give you general information. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the recommended dosage is 37.5 mg per day for 7 days. Thereafter, the dose should be increased to 75 mg per day.

If you do not have clear information from your doctor about the dosage, you should ask him or her yourself to be clear about what, when and how to take, as bystanders who do not have knowledge about your health will not be able to help and determine the appropriate treatment regimen. This is the responsibility of the doctor, in this case the attending physician.

If it is not possible to visit the site, I encourage you to take advantage of a teleconsultation, e.g. via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
