Can an ovary hurt after passing stool?

I wouldn't associate ovarian pain with defecation.

There may have been tension in the smooth muscles in the abdominal cavity – hence the feeling of stinging and pain. Such situations can also occur in the periovulatory period.

If these symptoms recur regularly, I would advise you to visit a gynecologist, who will most likely perform an ultrasound examination of the ovaries.

Until then, I recommend using a relaxant that you can buy at the pharmacy without a prescription.
