Caramlo is the brand name for a medicine that contains amlodipine (calcium channel blockers) and candesartan (angiotensin II receptor antagonists). These active substances are often used to treat high blood pressure.
Amlodipine helps to dilate blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure. Candesartan works by blocking the action of a substance called angiotensin II, which constricts blood vessels, causing blood pressure to rise.
Neither of the above active substances, Amlodipine or Candesartan, are addictive. It is important that you take your medicine as directed by your doctor and check your blood pressure regularly.
