If I don't have Salofalk ingots, can I use Salofalk suppositories interchangeably?

I suffer from UC. On an ad hoc basis, in case of increasing the exacerbation, I am to use Metronidazole and Salofalk in infusions for 14 days. If I don't have Salofalk ingots, can I use Salofalk suppositories interchangeably?

Such a change is beyond the competence of the pharmacist and requires consultation with the attending physician. You can find out more about drug substitutes here:
https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow

According to the manufacturer of the drug, the availability of Salofalk ingots is still very limited, although small quantities of packages remain on sale from time to time. We can ensure full availability only in December this year.

I am attaching information on the availability of Salofalk in ingots in pharmacies cooperating with GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68631/salofalk-zawiesina/apteki

I would like to point out that there are equivalents of this drug available on the market, i.e. Pentas. It contains the same substance, in the same dose, also in the form of ingots. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/60259/pentasa-zawiesina/apteki

You can also sign up for notifications about new information about Salofalk by clicking on the box that says "Notify me of new information. Other messages will not be sent." in the "Recent Salofalk news" section: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68631/salofalk-zawiesina/apteki#news

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
