Should I see a doctor after a blow to the head if I have headache and nausea?

Today my partner and I were fooling around, I accidentally got hit with a knee to the head/forehead by him. I didn't have any symptoms, after 2-3 hours I started to feel nauseous after eating but I didn't vomit and I started to have a headache. Should I see a doctor or will the symptoms go away on their own?

Symptoms should be self-limiting. The headache is most likely caused by a blow. Nausea may or may not have occurred after eating and may or may not have been a consequence of a stroke.

However, please keep in mind that concussion symptoms may not occur until a few days after a blow to the head. I would especially pay attention to ailments such as confusion, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, slurred speech, slowness and fatigue.

You should keep an eye on yourself for the next few days. If nausea and headache persist, you will need to see a doctor.
