The active substance in Dutilox is duloxetine. Duloxetine is an antidepressant that belongs to the group of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. However, one of the possible side effects of duloxetine may be a change in appetite, both an increase and a decrease. However, there is no conclusive evidence that duloxetine directly increases cravings for sweets.
