How do you know if your insulin has run out?

How long will one Gensulin N cartridge last, with 14 units, should I calculate something or pay attention to the plunger?

1 Gensulin N cartridge contains 300 units, so with a dosing schedule of 14 units per day, it should last for 3 weeks.

The Gensupen insulin pen is dedicated to the administration of Genuslin N. Using this device, the number of insulin units is set using the dose collector. At the end of the injection, a green indicator appears on the pen to indicate that the full dose has been given. If you do not see a green indicator after the injection, you have not enough insulin in the cartridge. You should then take a look at the window where the dose is displayed. The number in the pen window indicates the number of insulin units that need to be administered after changing the pen to reach the dose you initially set.
