If I switch from contraceptive injections to pills, will I be protected right away?

Good morning, on August 23rd I had an injection of Depp Provera, I want to change my method to birth control pills. If I start taking the pills today, i.e. November 2nd, will the protection be continuous, or do I need additional protection?

You can take your first tablet on the day you would normally have another injection. Protection will not be maintained immediately. You should use additional protection in the form of a condom for the first 7 days of taking the tablets.
